How to Look Good in BF Jeans

There is definitely a trick to pulling off this new style. Ya, celebs can do it because, let's face it, they are super human. They have stylists to fuss over them to make sure every aspect is just so. Well, for regular women...here are some tips.

* Make sure you are wearing women's jeans, with the bf cut. These are meant for hips and thighs that women have, and will help give you a chic (and hot) sillouette.

* The rise should sit low and loose around the hip. NO MUFFIN TOPS ALLOWED!!! The seat and thighs should have room, but not too much. Get a straight or tapered leg. Roll the cuffs for an added boost of trendy!

* Keep the other aspects of your outfit feminie, to contrast the masculine look of these jeans. Pair with a fitted top that shows off the goods, like a ribbed tank. fitted blazer

The "Lob"

- by Pixie

What the heck is a "lob"??? This is the newest trend for Starlets who want a sleek and sexy hair cut that inspires confidence and sofistication. Plus they are really easy to make look cute every day, and who doesn't love that?

Tips for your "lob" (from People Style Watch).

* Get the right length. For optimum versitility, hair should fall between your shoulders and collarbone.

* Get layers. Ask for long layers to help bring out texture.

* Give it a lift. Use a volumizing spray before blowdrying and bend ends under for a fuller look.

* Texture. Messy bedhead is sexy. Spritz on texturing spray then rough-dry hair with hands or let air dry. For a more polished version, dry hair straight with a round brush.

Is Bling for Dogs "Out"???

- by Pixie

Sprite & Sparky, the most spoiled chihuahua/terriers on the planet!

This month's People Style Watch says that puppy bling is an OUT! Oh no, I don't want to tell my dogs that they are out of style, what's a dog-mom to do? Sparky loves his rhinestone color and Sprite was the first one on the block to have a personalized denim jacket made from my old pair of 7s with the crystal pockets.

This is a disturbing quote that I found in the same People Mag...

Andrea Adren, (trainer for Animal Planet's "Underdog to Wonderdog" show) says "The focus on all things sparkly is subsiding. A current pet trend is stenciling for special occasions. Using safe vegatable and flower-based dyes, you can adorn your pet with fanciful custom designs".

Um, is she talking about dying your dog??? WTF! It's deemed to gawdy to bling-out your chihuahua but you can paint your poodle? I don't think I'll be following this trend at all. I think me & my boys will stick with the cutesy shirts and collars. Who doesn't love a cute mini-dog in a cute tee shirt???
